At Lumina, we design weddings with emotional depth and visual punch.
Our process is equal parts intuitive and type-A. We read between the lines, sweat the small stuff, and make sure your wedding feels elevated and true to you — down to the last champagne pour.
Led by Rebekah Erdman — planner, designer, former hospitality pro, and low-key logistics oracle — Lumina exists for couples who want a wedding that feels personal, not performative. You won’t find us pushing trends or traditions that don’t serve you. What you will find: calm direction, irreverent humor, emotional presence, and a knack for turning chaos into something cinematic.
We’ve spent years inside restaurants, boutique hotels, backstage greenrooms — and now, wedding venues around the world. We’ve wrangled timelines, navigated tricky family dynamics, made magic with tight budgets, and helped our clients feel more like themselves on their wedding day than they expected was even possible.
Whether you're throwing an intimate dinner party under the stars or a maximalist bash with a gospel choir and a martini tower, we're here to help you design the hell out of it — and enjoy the process while you're at it.
Because when the vision is clear, the emotional space is held, and the details are locked…you actually get to be present for it. And that? That’s the real flex.
I didn’t take the straight path to wedding planning, but I took the one that taught me how to lead with calm, intuition, and a hell of a lot of heart.
With 15 years in hospitality and a background in music and design, I bring both structure and soul to the planning process. I’ve managed high-volume restaurants, run boutique hotel events, and learned exactly how to hold space for people — whether they’re giving a toast or breaking down in the bridal suite.
My clients are thoughtful, creative, and a little rebellious. They’re not interested in a cookie-cutter wedding or surface-level design. They want meaning layered into the details, a planner who gets them, and a day that actually feels like them. That’s where I come in.
I plan weddings with reverence, irreverence, and a deep belief that your celebration should reflect your story and style, not just a trend cycle. I’m here for the emotional moments and the logistical fire drills. For the weirdly specific candle color you swear you saw on a trip to Oaxaca. For the parts of you that don’t always fit neatly into a Pinterest board.
This isn’t just a job. It’s a calling. And if you’re looking for someone who can match your vision with clarity, warmth, and a little wit — welcome. You’re in the right place.
